Beware of conditional prophesies as they are as good as any scam out there

What's the meaning of

'prominent people will die this year, to avert this pray'

'there will be accidents this year, pray if you don't want them to happen'

'I see war around the corner, fast and pray if you don't want war to happen'

Now, if these things happen, the person making these statements would claim that we didn't pray enough and if they do not happen the same person would claim that the prayers prevented them from happening.

So, it is a win win situation for the people engaging in this conditional prophesy business.

If God told them that something would happen then it would happen, simple!

Why would you allow people to play on your intelligence by using simple mathematical probability principles to confuse you and turn you into a prophesy seeking being?

I can even do better because I know for certain that

some people would be born this year

some people would die this year

the sun will rise from the east and set in the west

tomorrow will be Thursday and next tomorrow will be Friday

you will get hungry, you will eat and you will even sleep sef
