Sometimes, comments on updates just deserve to be updates on their own.

Enjoy the comment below on the issue of abandoned property policy against the Igbos in Rivers state even when the North and the South West returned properties belonging to the Igbos after the 3 years bitter civil war (1967 - 1970).

---------------------------------------------
Echi Nwogu: Is that soooo! His analog processor must have crashed and his VDU screen frozen. The Igbo have left the abandoned property saga behind and moved on. Port Harcourt and Calabar are the greatest losers in the abandoned property saga. Lagos is the greatest beneficiary and then Kaduna and more recently Abuja.

The SS people still sweating and having prickly conscience on account of the seizure of the landed property of Igbos in Their domain as a compensation for their support of the Gowon military jaunta to end the dreams of an independent Biafra must look at the activities in the Lsgos Zports and the Port a Harcourt, Calabar and Warri ports to know how the abandoned property misadventure and the plan to marginalize them has favored the business explosion in Lagos. All the Alaba, ASPANDA, Free trade zone, Ladipo, Idumota international markets are things that would have been happening in the east, even the rise of Dubai would have had to deal with the rise of an international trade hub in the east if not for all the marginalization and containment of the Igbos trade flair by the Nigerian cabals for the anti Igbo project.

More specifically, eastern Nigeria government focused on Port Harcourt as the premier industrial city and established the Trans Amadi industrial town for the rapid industrialization of the east. The gas pipelines installed then is now in use providing gas that powers many giant generators for the few industrial concerns that are there today. Now all that industrial explosion happening in Lagos and the rapid industrialization and urbanization happening on the Lagos Ibadan expressway is what should have been happening in the post independence dream of a Warri - Port Harcourt - Calabar - Aba - Umuahia - Enugu and Onitsha industrial triangle. All that has been lost on account of the abandoned property saga.

And the SS people do not know the grand plan that has successfully marginalized Eastern region. Do they know why the Enugu coal was killed? How about the opposition to the construction of a broad gauge rail line from Ajaokuta to Oturkpo and Port Harcourt for the use of the PH port to service the imports and exports for the Ajaokuta Steel project? So today you see a complete 30 year steel bridge at Ajaoktu lying fallow and rusting away till date.

The east west highway is taking thy kingdom come to Finnish. The Calabar - Lagos rail is still on the drawing board. The Lagos Kaduna rail line has been refurbished and operational while the eastern line from PH, Jos to Kaduna, Zaria is still over grown with grass and only rehabilitated in media reports and propaganda adverts of giant strides across the country. Nigeria teemed up with the South South and Cameroon to end the dream of self determination for Biafra. The Cameroons got Bakassi. What did Adaka Boro, Ken Sarowiwa and the people of the SS get apart from appropriating Igbo property under the able chairmanship of the a Captain David Mark, the czar of the Abandoned property now Emeritus senate president and possible future presidential hopeful. Did you get any industrial concerns? Did you get any of the chunks of fly overs that has gulped much of your oil money sunk in a Lagos and Abuja?

The SS has married two husbands. She can swear as to who her best partner in development would have been. As at today, the Igbo have licked the wounds of the pogrom, the war, the gang up, the hatred, the marginalization, and the siege to suppress. They have moved on beyond the loss of the Biafran dream. While the SS, the West and the Middle-belt now clamour for the scuttled Aburi Accord minimal provisions in the name and quest for physical and true federalism, the deplorable strides in underdevelopment and system collapse in Nigeria plus the insecurity and the Boko Haram war with the fears of the Islamization quest of the Muslim northern elements, the dreams of the Biafran dreams is again rising from the ashes to become attractive to the youths who would like to an opportunity to match the insurgency and visible threats from the Islamic fundamental jihadists.

The South South, the Middle belt, the Yoruba nation have a rethink to do. They have their eyes to shine to appraise their future and destiny. We have all been robbed by the past. The dreams of our grounding fathers has been quashed. The greatness of our nation the world and more especially the black race had looked to Nigeria for has slipped through our fingers like sand in the desert.

And why did we loose that? Britain wanted to continue a neo colonization hold on Nigeria through their lev affair with the feudal north. Today Britain and the western nations have lost to the Arab Muslim nations and Asia the business opportunities. Shell is in retreat in Nigeria. The US has eased off dependence and importation of Nigeria crude. All the engineering construction work in Nigeria is going over to the Lebanese, the Egyptians and the Chinese. All the Taylor wood raw, the Costains, the Wimpey, the Dumez, the feugeroules, the G Cappas, the Michelettis, etc etc have given way. Only Julius Berger is still struggling to be visible in Nigeria.

THE SS YOU GOT YOUR REWARD FOR SUPPORTING NIGERIA IN THE CIVIL WAR IN THE ABANDONED PROPERTY. AFTER THAT WHAT ELSE? BRITAIN AND RUSSIA, YOU FOUGHT BIAFRA WITH NIGERIA TO DEFEAT BIAFRA. WHAT IS YOUR GAIN. Unu akwola aka tiere okuko aki.

THE IGBOS ARE NO MORE THE PROBLEM FOR THE SS MINORITIES AND WILL NEVER EVER BE. THOSE WHO HAVE HATED AND WORKED AGAINST THE IGBO IN NIGERIA ARE THE GREATEST LOSERS IN THE WHOLE MESS.

May a God deliver Nigeria from her blindness and death wish.
